Buttermilk

Buttermilk

       Nate is one of the old guys I take care of at the home.  He’s a crank, but he says smart things sometimes.  Sometimes he says crazy things.

      

Like Buttermilk.

Nate says America lost its way when we stopped drinking Buttermilk.  He says, back in the day, everything wasn’t sweet and that made sweet things sweeter.  Follow that?

He says people actually made some foods bitter on purpose, that they expected some things to be hard to do, that kids were supposed to cry sometimes. 

Crazy, huh?

 

But he’s right about one thing – I’ve tried it and I like Buttermilk.
