I’m a car nut who dreams in green.  I envision a pollution-free future.  I write to politicians saying “Make it Greener!”

       It’s exciting times – Skyactive Technology, Eco-Boost, regenerative brakes, hybrids, clean diesel and the big Kahuna – Hydrogen engines! Fortunes have been spent on the engine that exhausts only water.  So clean ~ except …

       We get hydrogen by ‘cracking’ natural gas; we get natural gas by ‘fracking’ the earth … and fracking causes earthquakes and makes tap water inflammable.  Sigh.

       So after the hype, the research & the prototypes we’re back to the beginning – I’m back on my bike.
