Matrie D'Amour

Maitre d’Amour 

He was elegant, handsome and sophisticated.  Gracious in speech and action, he charmed everyone, most especially women.  He knew the right wines, the right people, the right places.  Everywhere he went, he found friends.

     

      But he lacked passion.

      Imperturbable, he took all things in stride – including his divorces.

      His ex-wives, his ex-girlfriends all agreed that they loved him but that his distant reserve frustrated them.  They thought that he didn’t REALLY CARE.

      When the break-ups were over his reaction was always the same - he would look at the new woman and say, “My darling, our table is ready.”
